Falls Park is a 32-acre park in the heart of downtown. Falls Park is known for its stunning waterfall, gardens, and the Liberty Bridge. Don’t worry – it’s not a hiking spot! It’s easily walkable, family-friendly, and a must-see spot if you’ve never visited Greenville before.

Swamp Rabbit Trail – Access at Falls Park

Greenville wouldn’t be Greenville without the Swamp Rabbit Trail! The SRT is a widely paved 28-mile connected trail for bikers, walkers, and runners. It’s very walkable and has lots of great stopping points. One of the best stops is Unity Park and The Commons (same area).

Unity Park (320 South Hudson Street, Greenville, SC 29601) features two large green spaces, four playgrounds, and covered picnic tables. The Commons is a family-friendly gathering space featuring Greenville-grown businesses and a food hall. Both Unity Park and The Commons are located right off of the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Gather is an outdoor food hall, featuring over 15 local restaurants and bars housed in repurposed shipping containers. It’s family-friendly and offers live music in a casual environment.

M. Judson Booksellers – 130 South Main Street Unit A, Greenville, SC 29601                                                            

M. Judson offers a wide selection of books and other goods. There is also a wonderful coffee shop inside called Camilla’s Kitchen. The steps of the building are iconic and beloved in Greenville! Bonus – it is just feet away from The Westin (our reception location).

Tselia offers one of the best cups of coffee you’ll find in downtown Greenville!

Group Therapy is a pub and playground offering mini golf, digital darts, axe throwing, and more. It’s family-friendly and located conveniently downtown.

Liability is right outside downtown and offers speciality beers and seltzers in a laid-back environment. Ryan plays on the Greenville Griffins rugby team and Liability is one of their sponsors. It’s a great place to spend some time – enjoy a drink on their outdoor patio if weather allows!

Fun fact – this is where we went on our very first date! Vault & Vator is an upscale, speakeasy-style cocktail lounge. Be sure to order their “dealer’s choice” cocktail where the bartender crafts a custom cocktail based on two adjectives you provide to them. Note – Vault & Vator is 21+ and opens at 5 pm, so this is a good option for those who are in town on Friday night or are looking for drinks after the reception ends!
